TRAVEL_PHOTOS: A Quick Tour of San Sebastian, Spain and Karmengo Jaiak festival

San Sebastián or Donostia (Basque) is a coastal city and municipality located in the Basque Autonomous Community, Spain. It lies on the coast of the Bay of Biscay, 20 km (12 miles) from the French border. Locals call themselves "donostiarra".  It is one of Spain’s most attractive, charming and popular cities. The main economic activities are commerce and tourism, and it is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Spain.

Day or night, San Sebastian’s Old Town boasts a lively bar scene, yet retains the city’s air of elegance.  It is where many events take place.

We were lucky to be there on time for the Karmengo Jaiak Festival (Feast of Our Lady of Carmen), in honor of the fishermen.

The latest news was bullfighting is returning to San Sebastián after a three-year ban.

Wish You Were there.
